The Problem: Throughout the years we have changed our fleet from JCB towards Komatsu, Cat & Kobelco machines.
These all have different ways of operating certain functions on the machine; this causes slow production whilst the operator familiarises themselves with the new functions. Another issue we find is that, although we send a machine pack out with every hire, the certificates often get misplaced or they are required to be emailed to site. Again this sometimes slows production as no lifts etc can be done until this information is available.
The Solution
A individual QR Code is applied on each machine which will allow access to the following information:
- Start Up Procedure
- Quick Hitch Operation
- Daily Check Walk Round
Scanning the QR Code using the camera on any smart phone, will direct the operator to a unique part of the this website.
The operator will then have the option to watch a short tutorial video or download and view certificates.
